Cetina Canyon near Omiš: raft, zipline or boat?
Updated October 10, 2026 · 5 min read
If you want to get wet, pick rafting; if you want to stay dry, pick the boat; if heights are the draw, the zipline is the only one that flies over the canyon. The rafting, cliff jumping and cave tour is our choice for most visitors at €45, rated 4.8 across 2,095 reviews. Those who do not want to go in the water should take the 2-hour boat tour at €15.20.
The four options
| Tour | Duration | From | Rating | What you do |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rafting, cliff jumping and cave exploring | 3–6 hours | €45 | 4.8 (2,095) | Rapids, waterfalls, caves, swimming |
| Rafting with cliff jump and swimming | 3 hours | €38 | 4.7 (1,504) | 7.5 miles of level 2 and 3 rapids with a guide |
| Zipline over Cetina Canyon | 2.5 hours | €80 | 4.9 (1,569) | Flying over the canyon |
| Boat tour with nature park visit | 2 hours | €15.20 | 4.5 (1,905) | Cruise through the canyon |
Two rafting trips that sound alike
Both departures offer rafting and a cliff jump, but they are not interchangeable. The €45 tour lists rapids, waterfalls and caves, and its duration is listed as 3 to 6 hours, a wide range, so pin down the departure before planning the rest of the day. The €38 tour spells out its distance: 7.5 miles, roughly 12 kilometres, through level 2 and 3 rapids with a guide. It is the one to pick if you want a defined rafting outing at the lower price and are happy to skip the cave.

The zipline is a different kind of day
The zipline costs €80, more than five times the boat tour, and takes 2.5 hours. It also has the highest rating of the four, 4.9 stars on 1,569 reviews. It is the pick for people who have already rafted elsewhere or who want the canyon seen from above. It is not a way to experience the river itself, so do not book it expecting to swim.

The boat for everyone else
At 2 hours and €15.20 the boat tour is the cheapest of these four ways into the canyon, and its description calls it the most popular tour in Omiš. It moves through the canyon and includes a visit to the nature park, with nothing you have to be fit or brave enough to attempt. That makes it the natural pick for grandparents, small children and anyone who is nervous around water. Its 4.5 is the lowest score of the four, though still solid on 1,905 reviews.

Who should skip the rafting
Non-swimmers and anyone who dislikes cold water should look at the boat tour instead, since the rafting trips include swimming and cliff jumping as part of the programme. For more active day trips from Split, the adventure tours cover canyoning and other options.
Our recommendation
Book the rafting, cliff jumping and cave tour if you are fit and happy to get wet, and the boat tour if you are not.
