Diocletian’s Palace and the lived-in old centre are the city’s defining sights. Bookable strengths are guided walks, island cruises, Krka and Plitvice day trips, and Cetina adventures near Omiš.
No. The Blue Cave is on Biševo, beyond Vis. Tours from Split are long open-sea speedboat days and access can change with sea conditions.
Krka is the shorter and easier day. Plitvice tours in the current inventory commonly last about twelve hours; choose it for the lake system, not for a relaxed outing.
Bačvice is the central sandy city beach. Kašjuni and Kaštelet sit below Marjan; Firule, Trstenik and the renewed Žnjan coast are east of the centre.
No. The palace streets are public and free to wander. A guide adds historical context; cellars, cathedral areas and other interiors may require separate admission.
Marjan is a forested city hill, not a mountain excursion. The dramatic adventure landscape in the tour inventory is mainly the Cetina canyon around Omiš.
