Krka Waterfalls from Split: classic boat day, wine tasting or Trogir combo?
Updated October 10, 2026 · 5 min read
For most visitors the right Krka trip is the boat cruise and swimming day: 9 hours, €26.25, rated 4.8 across 13,607 reviews. Pay €12.90 more and the food and wine tasting tour adds an hour and finishes at a winery. The other two options below only make sense if you want Trogir on the same day or a tour for your own group only.
The four trips compared
| Tour | Hours | From | Rating | What sets it apart |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Boat cruise and swimming | 9 | €26.25 | 4.8 (13,607) | Discounted park entry, swim at Primošten |
| Food and wine tasting | 10 | €39.15 | 4.9 (8,386) | Swim at Skradin, winery stop at the end |
| Cruise and Trogir walking tour | 8 | €39.15 | 4.7 (945) | Guided walk through Trogir |
| Private Krka and Trogir tour | 3–5 | €100 | 4.9 (94) | Only your group; lunch and wine optional |
Where you actually swim
The two big tours differ in a way the titles hide. The 9-hour day includes a swim at Primošten on the coast, so the water you enter is the sea, not the falls. The 10-hour food tour swims at Skradin, a small town on the river. Pick by the stop you would enjoy, not by the word “swimming” in the title.

Is the winery worth the extra hour?
The tasting tour cruises the river, swims in Skradin and closes with local products and wines at a winery. That makes it the one to book if you want the day to have a social ending rather than a bus ride home. If you are travelling with young children or already tired of coaches, the same hour is just a longer day, and the cheaper tour fits better.

Krka plus Trogir in eight hours
The Trogir combination is the shortest of the shared tours. You get the river cruise and the waterfalls, plus a guided walk in Trogir. It costs the same €39.15 as the wine tour, so you are choosing between a winery and a historic town, and its 4.7 rating comes from far fewer reviews (945).
The private tour is shorter, not longer
Notice the 3 to 5 hours: the private tour is the only one that does not fill a whole day. It covers Krka and an optional Trogir visit, and lunch with wine tasting can be added. Choose it when a small group wants control over the pace and can live with less time in the park than the 9- and 10-hour coach days give.

Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who wants a long hike inside the park will find every shared option rigid, because the boat and bus times set the day. If you would rather see a different park, the national park tours list Plitvice as the other big option.
Our recommendation
Book the Krka boat cruise and swimming day unless a winery stop appeals, in which case choose the food and wine tour for €39.15.
